Recently a picture went viral of R Nagalakshmi, the mother of the Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa. In that picture, she was standing with her son with a mother’s pride which was so evident in her eyes. 

The picture of R Nagalakshmi watching with a smile and a glint in her eyes while her son giving interviews to the media became one of the most precious pictures on the internet and went viral on social media. 

After 2002 when Viswanathan Anand reached the final of the FIDE World Cup, Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa became the first Indian to reach that level in chess. 

It is a great proud moment for India since Praggnanandhaa an 18-year-old defeated the famous Grandmaster Fabiano Caruana in tiebreaks and now he is going to face the five-time winner of the world championship, Magnus Carlsen.

Kunal Bahl the co-founder of Spandeal said that he wants to know more about the Praggnanandhaa family. He shared a post on X where Kuanl said that he would love to support anyone who is willing to make a documentary on R Praggnanandhaa.
